Italy Sales Mission 2024

Italy has been one of the top-20 inbound markets for the USA for many years. On this five-day sales mission, we will make 15 or more sales calls with Italian tour operators in Milan and Rome. Business comes in the form of leisure groups, honeymooners, FITs, and MICE.

Included on this sales mission are 15 or more pre-scheduled sales appointments. Each sales appointment is scheduled to last for approximately 60-90 minutes, with every participant being given 5 minutes to speak about their product or destination. Additional time will be allocated for questions.

TRANSPORTATION

• We will travel by train between cities. The cost of transportation by train between cities, and taxis to and from client offices is included in the cost of this sales mission.
• It is recommended that participants arrive in Milan no later than Sunday evening and meet at the host hotel the next morning.
• Participants should plan to depart from Rome no sooner than Saturday morning.

RECOMMENDED HOTELS

• Milan: INNSiDE by Melia Milano Torre GalFa Hotel, Via Generale Gustavo Fara 41, Stazione Centrale, Milan, 20124 Italy (Sunday, Sept 29 - Wednesday, Oct 2, 2024); $230+ per night 
• Rome: Best Western Plus Hotel Universo, Via Principe Amedeo 5/B, Rome, RM 185, Italy (Wednesday, Oct 2 - Saturday, Oct 5, 2024); $222+ per night 

We recommend that participants stay in the above properties or nearby accommodations to ensure a smooth execution of the sales mission. Both hotels are located near the train stations to make the transfer between Milan and Rome by train easy.

INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS IN THE PARTICIPATION FEE

• Included in the price of this sales mission are the pre-scheduled appointments with travel trade buyers, as well as the cost of train tickets between cities and taxis to get to client meetings.
• The cost of this sales mission does not include other travel expenses such as airfare, accommodations, meals, and other ground transportation.

REFUND POLICY

• Registration fees are refundable up to 100 days prior to the event start date, minus a 3% processing fee.
• A 50% refund is provided for cancelation requests made between 99 to 50 days prior to the event start date.
• No refunds can be given for cancelations within 49 days of the event start date. Explore Marketing can then represent your organization during the sales mission and provide you with reports after the event.

NON-COMPETITIVE PARTICIPANTS:

Our sales missions fill up on a first-come, first-serve basis. Great care is placed to have our sales missions joined by non-competing service providers or destinations. This allows us to provide buyers with a range experiences that complement another, and ensures great visibility and a positive outcome for all participants.
