About the event

Participate in person on this whirlwind sales mission through Florida!  On this five-day journey that takes us from Orlando to Miami, we will make sales calls with receptive tour operators and wholesalers.

In Orlando we will speak to wholesalers and tour operators that handle mostly European and South American inbound business, but also meet operators that handle Indian leisure group customers and FITs. Once in Miami, we will meet with MICE and leisure group operators largely.

Included in this sales mission are a minimum of 16 pre-scheduled sales appointments. Each sales appointment is scheduled to last for approximately 60-90 minutes, with each participant being given 5 minutes to speak about their product or destination. Additional time will be allocated for questions and answers

  • Arrive in Orlando and make your way to the hotel

Monday, March 18, 2024

  • Group Meeting in the morning
  • 10am – 5pm: Sales Calls, one hour each

Tuesday, March 19, 2024

  • 10am – 5pm: Sales Calls, one hour each

Wednesday, March 20, 2024

  • 10am – 12pm: Sales Calls, one hour each
  • Afternoon: Travel from Orlando to Miami (4 hours)

Thursday, March 21, 2024

  • 10am – 5pm: Sales Calls, one hour each

Friday, March 22, 2024

  • 9am – 1pm: Sales Calls, one hour each
  • Depart home in the afternoon or at a time of your choosing

TRANSPORTATION

  • The group will be traveling from appointment to appointment in a large rental car.
  • The cost for the rental car and gas to get to all client appointments is included in the price of the mission.
  • All other expenses of this sales mission, such as airfare, accommodations, meals, and other ground transportation are not included.
  • It is recommended that participants arrive in Orlando on Sunday evening and meet the next morning at the host hotel.
  • Participants should plan to depart Miami on Friday late afternoon or thereafter.
  • Each participant is responsible for getting to and from the airport on their own at the start and end of the sales mission.

RECOMMENDED HOTELS

  • Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Convention Center, 6435 Westwood Boulevard, Orlando, FL (Sunday, March 17 - Wednesday, March 20, 2024); $165 per night
  •  Four Points by Sheraton Coral Gables, 3861 S.W. 40th Street, Coral Gables, FL (Thursday, March 20 - Friday, March 22, 2024); $229+ per night
  • We recommend the group to stay in the recommended hotel or nearby accommodation to ensure a smooth execution of the sales mission.
  • Sales Mission participants are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms.

INCLUSIONS IN THE PARTICIPATION FEE

  • Included in the price of this sales mission are the pre-scheduled appointments with travel trade buyers and the cost of ground transportation to get to the appointments.
  • The participation fee for this sales mission does not include travel expenses, such as flights, other ground transportation, hotels and meals.

REFUND POLICY

  • Registration fees are refundable up to 100 days prior to the event start date, minus a 3% processing fee.
  • A 50% refund is provided for cancelation requests made between 99 to 50 days prior to the event start date.
  • No refunds can be given for cancelations within 49 days of the event start date. Explore Marketing can then represent your organization during the sales mission and provide you with reports after the event.

NON-COMPETITIVE PARTICIPANTS

Note: Great care is placed to have our sales missions joined by non-competing service providers or destinations. This allows us to provide buyers with a range experiences that complement another. Should a second buyer want to join a sales mission that competes with a buyer that has already signed up for a sales mission, we may not be able to accept the reservation to ensure the best-possible outcome for our participants.
