Explore Marketing Update - May 2017

Explore Marketing Turns One Year Old

It’s been one year since the launch of Explore Marketing and we are thankful for the support of clients and friends in the industry. During this time, we led seven sales missions to New York, Florida, Los Angeles, Honololu, China, London, and Germany, participated in three top international travel tradeshows and met with over 3,000 travel trade buyers and media representatives. Over the next six months, we will continue our efforts to promote our clients’ products and offer increased exposure through additional sales missions that will include new countries and cities such as Switzerland, India, San Francisco, and participating in ITB Asia. To view our sales missions and event schedule and to sign-up, click here. In addition to organizing successful sales missions and events, we have also grown our client base, supporting organizations across California, Boston, New York, London and Philadelphia. To accommodate the growth, we expanded our team to include include a PR and social media professional, working on growing social media following and distribution of industry news updates to clients. For up-to-date industry news and to continue showing us your support, follow and engage with us on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Combine Dining With Scenery of Napa Valley

Beginning in June 2017, the Napa Valley Wine Train is set to launch two new winery tour products on a newly renovated train. Guests aboard will travel to three distinct wineries and step into the wineries for an exclusive tour and tasting. Napa Valley Wine Train offers an authentic, memorable experience that echoes the glory days of train travel, with fine dining service, multiple course meals, Napa Valley scenery and ultimate relaxation aboard an exquisitely restored vintage train. One of the few active historic passenger railroads in the United States, the Wine Train features antique Pullman rail cars faithfully restored with Honduran mahogany paneling, brass accents, etched glass partitions and plush armchairs that evoke the spirit of luxury rail travel at the beginning of the 20th century. How To Plan A Lake Tahoe Trip In Your Own Way

South Tahoe’s new Utrip planner lets you experience beautiful Lake Tahoe in the way that’s most meaningful to you. Using your budget and interests, the planner will give you a day-by-day itinerary, in moments. The trip planner factors in seasonality and logistics so you won’t be sent to a museum that is closed on a Monday! It is also optimized for geography so no crisscrossing road trips all day. There are many ways you can continue to personalize your trip. You can view venue descriptions, information and tips by clicking on activities, look at your trip by the week, edit your trip and easily lock in, move around or delete activities. And, if you’re unsure of what to see, leave it to the experts and check out the Lake Tahoe Featured Trips. Last but not least, you can easily share your trip with friends and family via social media and email. Find out more about Tahoe South at IPW Booth #2159.
